DR JAYS ANNOUNCES ITS STUDENT APPRECIATION PROGRAM

February 3, 2012 New York, NY – Dr Jays, the premiere NYC shopping destination for over 36 years, is proud to announce its Student Appreciation Program. This program will offer students a 20% discount off any Dr Jays purchase made between February 15, 2012 and March 31, 2012 at any of its twenty retail locations. “On behalf of Dr Jays, we appreciate and support the neighborhoods we serve. The Student Appreciation Program was created to reward students with the utmost comfort, flexibility and inventory that cater to everyone’s budget and style” says Joe Betesh, Owner of Dr Jays.

The Student Appreciation Program is one of many community initiatives Dr Jays has recently supported. This past November, Dr Jays partnered with rapper Fabolous, NY Giants Ahmad Bradshaw and NY Yankees Robinson Cano in its 1st Annual 3 Kings Coat Drive serving as the exclusive locations to collect hundreds of gently used coats for those less fortunate. Participants that donated received 10% discount off a new coat purchase and an opportunity to meet Fabolous and Bradshaw. In December, Dr Jays also partnered with NBA guard and Newark native Randy Foye in a Holiday Toy Drive at its Newark locations helping raise thousands of toys for neighborhood kids.

Dr Jays will promote this campaign at various institutions, schools, programs, niche events as well as social media. All students can redeem the 20% discount by presenting a valid student photo ID to the cashier prior to checkout. Discount cannot be combined with any additional offers. Some exclusions apply.
