Description: This program is for CUNY ESL STUDENTS who want intensive instruction in all English skills, especially reading and writing, to prepare for college courses. Offering: BMCC - CUNY Language Immersion Program Fees:
• $180 (for those who meet one-year NY State residency requirements) for Fall or Spring 15 week semester
• $450 (for Non- NY State residency) Fall or Spring 15- week semester
• $45 (for those on Public Assistance, SEEK, or College Discovery) Fall or Spring 15 week semester and $18 during the Summer semester

Description: Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID) offers access to a full range of services that may be needed by persons with disabilities through their lives.
Offering: VESID coordinates policy and services relating to: 
  • special education services for students with disabilities (3-21)
  • transition services for student with disabilities from school to adult services;
  • vocational rehabilitation services for individuals with disabilities, ages 16 and older; and
  • Independent living services for people with disabilities of all ages.
Fees: There is no cost for meeting with a VESID counselor or for anything that is needed to see if VESID can help you (this would include medical examinations, vocational testing, and other assessments). There is also no cost for job placement services. Fees for other services may be based upon your income and/or family resources.
